We celebrated this little sweetie’s bday today and I just loved what her Mom planned… a $10 train ride to Oceanside, lunch at Ruby’s, kite flying on the beach, and frozen yogurt!
She even made all the girls these darling gumball necklaces. It was the funnest day. Loved every moment, even when I not only spilled ranch all over me and Sarah, but I spilled my diet coke on the train all over me and the seat, and got a hole in my new shirt…
The day was so fun, I could easily laugh away those moments!

The kite flying was by far my favorite. I am a terrible mom that I have never flown kites with my kids yet!! This was Rowan’s first time, and he was hooked!!

I so would have been lost with these two! Mark didn’t make it until later in the day and Darrin & Alison pushed my stroller, carried kids, mopped up spilled ranch, and washed dirty sand off my kids’ feet…
Seriously, the coolest people!! And you have to check out Alison’s work here… she is an amazing designer!!! I LOVE her work.
